Dinner under the stars: a unique experience at the Fabra Observatory
Imagine a vantage point with panoramic views of Barcelona. A table on the terrace, carefully prepared for a dinner at sunset. A delicious, high-quality menu. And for dessert? An astronomical observation session to discover stars, planets and constellations. This is exactly what the “Dinner with stars” experience organised by Sternalia at the Fabra Observatory is all about. From 31 May to 6 October, from Tuesdays to Sundays, you can enjoy this wonderful combination of gastronomy and astronomy.
The event begins at sunset, with dinner in the open air, and continues with a 30-minute lecture in which you can satisfy your curiosity about the universe by asking any questions you like. This is followed by a visit to the museum and the telescope room. Built in 1904, it is one of the largest and oldest telescopes in Europe that is still in operation. Through its lens, you will be able to lose yourself in the firmament, gazing at the solar system and distant constellations. We can’t think of a better plan for an unforgettable summer night.
