Cocktail bars, yes, but with a sophisticated range of signature cocktails that are another level. Magical, clandestine and fun places where every detail counts and where you can experience a night out of the ordinary is the least you’ll get out of it. 3 cocktail bars in Valencia for the most special toast of your life!
1. Hocus Pocus
In this magical place near Plaza Redonda you can make your own cocktail, or rather, your own magic potion. Inspired by the Harry Potter universe, the experience at Hocus Pocus begins with a wand, a robe and a welcome cocktail to get you into the mood. The next step is to choose the potion you want to prepare according to the power you wish to acquire (attract love, talk to animals…). You will receive the ingredients, instructions and a cauldron to prepare the brew (with or without alcohol) under the watchful eye of the potions master. A different experience ideal for a couple or with friends. It is available from Wednesday to Sunday afternoons and evenings for €29.

2. Apotheke
This clandestine bar, located in the Cánovas area, can only be entered if you know the password. The night starts off interesting at Apotheke, and continues to crescendo with the atmosphere inspired by a 1920s speakeasy, the bars that sold alcohol illegally during Prohibition. This elegant cocktail bar stands out for its pairing with delicious signature snacks, especially its seasoned oysters - you’ll feel like a real gangster of the era! Open from Monday to Saturday (except Tuesdays), they leave the Dim Sunday experience for the end of the week, with cocktails and dumplings served in steamers or on a plate.

3. Maison Lupin
Without detracting from the incredible cocktails they prepare, if there is one thing that makes this lounge bar stand out, it is the presentation of its drinks. Inspired by the universe of the fictional thief Arsène Lupin by the writer Maurice Leblanc, the cocktails arrive at the tables in “glasses” as surprising as the bust of King Emeritus Juan Carlos I, the late Queen Elizabeth II or Tintin himself. If you’re hooked on the popular Netflix series, you’ll love this place, whose menu is full of references to Leblanc’s novels.
